Going Gaga Over Magnum Classic Ice Cream

Imagine this: Vanilla Ice Cream coated by Belgian chocolate. Admit it or not, you  just craved by the thought of it.

Presenting the Magnum Classic Ice Cream:

I confess I have sweet tooth and Ice Cream is one of my weaknesses. Like, I can’t really say no to Ice cream. So when Magnum hits Philippines like Tsunami, I am one of those curious bystanders who spent 50 pesos just to taste this ice cream on stick.

And if you are still curious about this, here's what Wikipedia says about it:

Magnum is an ice cream brand owned by the British/Dutch Unilever company, and sold as part of the Heartbrand line of products in most countries. It was originally made by Frisko in Aarhus, Denmark. The original 1987 Magnum (later rebranded as Magnum Classic) consisted of a thick bar of vanilla ice cream on a stick, covered with white or dark chocolate, with a weight of 86 grams (120 ml). In 1994 the company also started selling Magnum ice cream cones, and in 2002 an ice cream sandwich.

And because I'm an ice cream lover (and I need to repeat it over and over again), I tried it without the influence of TV commercials and blog reviews.

So here's how I ate it:

    1. Opened the wrapper and stared at the whole magnum with the Belgian chocolate coating.

    2. Took a big bite on the upper right portion of the ice cream bar.

I admit it, it tastes so good. That awesome feeling when the Vanila ice cream plus belgian chocolate gradually melting on my tongue.

    3. Peeled off the vanila ice cream by eating the coating first.

For me, it looks like Pinipig-ish, so I ate it the way I eat pinipig.

    4. Devoured the whole Vanilla Ice cream bar in 30 seconds.

And that's it, rest in peace Magnum.

I swear I will do anything in exchange for a stick of Magnum Classic, so come on, send me some love.

    5. Hehehe.. I love the photo with the 'glitters/stars' and all. Oh, and if you've tried the Classic flavor, you should definitely try the one with the Almonds.. That to me, is my ultimate fave! :)

    7. Magnum has already passed its so-called hype. For the taste (vs Cornetto and Pinipig Crunch), those haters are missing a lot since its tastes so good. ^_^
